God is generous and so He calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the Gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
The early church set a pattern for generous living that demonstrated how their lives had been changed by Christ's love. Generosity takes many forms, and we invite you to take a holistic approach to generosity and give yourself relationally, in service to the church and to others, and through your physical means so the Gospel can be advanced.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you are to do as well. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save as he may prosper, so that no collections need to be made when I come.
