You're welcomed ... and wanted.
Hi there! We are grateful for your interest in Concord Road Church of Christ. As you get to know us better, we hope you find a congregation of imperfect people serving a lovingly perfect God...and a place where you can belong. In a world that offers more confusion than answers, our hope is that you find a place where you belong, feel wanted, and find life-changing truth that can only be found in God. We know finding a church home is essential to your spiritual growth. We aim in all we say and do to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the New Testament. Since He is our Savior and Lord, we look to His Word for how we should believe, practice, and live as Christians.
There seem to be more and more religious groups today, each with its own teachings. It is not easy to sort through so many voices. For this reason, we test every belief and practice by the Word of God. We constantly ask, "what does the Bible say about this?"
God's way is always the right way and the best way to do things. We seek to submit to his will, do Bible things in Bible ways, and call Bible things by Bible names. We speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent.
Jesus said, "everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock" (Matt. 7:24-27). We hope you will want to join us daily in learning how to better hear and practice what Jesus teaches without adding to or taking away from it. Then together, we can live our faith out loud to truly love God and serve others as Jesus did. We hope to meet you soon.
