James Barrett
James grew up at Concord Road after his family moved to Brentwood in the early 1970s. He met his wife, Jessica, at Tennessee Tech, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and later completed a Master’s at UT Knoxville. Married in 1988, they returned to Brentwood in 1991 and raised their four children—Jessamyn, Laurel, Xander, and Rowan—at Concord Road. Active in teaching and youth programs like VBS, Kids for Christ, Lads to Leaders, and Bible Bowl, James has also served as a deacon in youth and benevolence ministries. Grateful for Concord Road’s focus on evangelism and youth, James is honored to serve as a shepherd for this loving congregation.
