At the center of the Concord Road Church of Christ logo are two simple symbols: a heart and a cross. Together, they tell the story of who we are and why we exist.
The Cross — The Love of Christ
The cross rises from the center of the logo because Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we do. The cross reminds us of the gospel—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus—and of the incredible love God demonstrated through His Son.
“But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
The Heart — A People Who Love
Wrapped around the cross is the heart.
The heart represents both God's love for us and the love we are called to have for Him and for one another. Jesus said the greatest commands are to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37–39). That kind of love should be visible in the life of a church—in our worship, our fellowship, our service, our families, and our community.
