What If Today Was A Gift You Gave To God?
What if everything you did today was something you were handing to God when you finished?
This Monday Motivation argues for doing ordinary things as if you're giving them to God. Not just worship, prayer, or Bible reading. The work you do. The conversations you have. How you treat the server at lunch. Paul doesn't split life into "for God" and "everything else" in Colossians 3:17, and he says the same thing again in Colossians 3:23-24: whatever you do, do it as for the Lord, not for people.
You'll walk through what happens when you catch yourself performing for an audience instead of giving the work to God, why scoreboards make terrible gods, and the difference between excellence for God and perfectionism for people.
One point: your life doesn't become meaningful when enough people notice it. It already has meaning because of who you're living it for.
