Are You Helping Satan Without Knowing It?
Ephesians 4:27 says not to give the devil an opportunity. Most believers read this verse as a warning about what Satan does to them. This Monday Motivation asks a harder question: what are you allowing him to do through you?
You pray for help against spiritual attacks. Then you keep the anger, the gossip, and the pride you have excused for years. DJ walks through three passages of scripture and shows how respectable sins hand Satan a way into your life.
Not every hardship comes from personal sin. Job suffered and stayed righteous. Jesus faced temptation and stayed sinless. DJ makes this clear early in the video. The point is narrower. Scripture teaches that your behavior gives Satan room to work.
You will hear how anger becomes resentment and resentment becomes bitterness. You will see why James puts submission to God before resistance to the devil. You will learn why a respectable sin doesn't exist in God's eyes. You will also see how a person starts by doing right and ends by doing wrong.
Think about your own life as you watch. Is it pride you call confidence? Is it gossip you call concern? Is it bitterness you call self-protection? Are you trying to honor God or trying to win?
This video is for you if you pray for victory over temptation and still tolerate habits God has already named as sin. It is for you if you defend your convictions and sin against people in the process. It is for you if you use someone else’s wrongdoing as an excuse.
Three actions close the video. Recognize the opportunities you give Satan. Repent of the sins you justify. Replace sinful responses with obedience to God’s commands.
