God wants your Pennies, Daily!
What do you plan on doing for God one day?
You can’t live tomorrow, you can only live TODAY.
A penny is a rather insignificant item. Not a whole lot you can do with a penny other than throwing it at your sibling. So think on this...would you rather have a penny doubled every day for 30 days or $1,000,000 dollars.
You have probably heard this before, but the answers is easy if you think about it, a penny! Doubled everyday for 30 days you end up with $5,368,709.12 which is a bit more than a million.
Now think in the context of what God wants from us? He sent His son to die for us so that we could have life and live it more abundantly. Not a #selfie life, but a selfless live sharing His boundless love & never ending joy with others. If you do one big selfless thing a month, or even a week to share God’s love, I’m not knocking it, but God wants your pennies daily. We scatter the seed, he provides the increase. (2 Cor. 9:10)
We can get so caught up in what we plan, hope, or aspire to do that we easily miss the opportunities placed right in front of us on a daily basis. If we talk the talk we need to walk the walk. James 2:18 says “faith, if it has no works, is dead...But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”

When we only drop million dollar, or even hundred dollar efforts, it can be tempting to look at what we’ve done. When insignificant pennies lead to souls being saved, we see God’s handiwork and our faith is increased. Are you ready & willing?
Give Him your pennies daily and you’ll be amazed at what He can do through you. To God be the Glory forever and ever, Amen.
